Tadpole is proud to announce our partnership with the New Zealand Food Network (NZFN), New Zealand’s National Food Rescue facilitator. Food insecurity is a growing concern in New Zealand and NZFN’s purpose is to bring scale and efficiency into the process of bridging the gap between supply and demand by preventing good food from going to landfill, and instead directing it to the communities who need it most.
As sustainable transformation and ESG specialists, Tadpole understands the critical role food rescue plays in New Zealand and partnering with the NZFN was a logical decision. Food donations to an organisation such as the NZFN not only serves the sustainability movement by reducing the level of greenhouse gas emissions (such as methane and CO2) produced by landfill waste, but also those individuals and communities who are living without reliable, daily access to affordable and nutritious food.
Tadpole looks forward to engaging with the NZFN to produce sustainable results together, for the benefit of the environment and our communities.
